The members of Retribution have their hands full with their new storyline. Not just in terms of dealing with groups like The Hurt Business or Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee, but with wrestlers, fans and media outside the squared circle.

The war that seems to have begun with members of the new faction has gotten both nasty and, quite honestly, entertaining. The latest is a war of words between Retribution member T-Bar and AEW star Chris Jericho.

It all started Friday evening when T-Bar took to social media to try and explain why WWE had offered contracts to the group. It was a storyline idea that didn't make a lot of sense and still didn't after T-Bar tried to explain it over Twitter. He wrote, "WWE offered us contracts because it was financially cheaper than all of the security guards we kept injuring. We signed the contracts to pay for our hired guns to do our dirty work. Our goal is still to destroy our current employer, WWE."

He turned comments off, but that didn't stop people from retweeting the post and bashing it because it still defied logic. Jericho was among those and when he said, "Huh?", that seemed to be enough to trigger T-Bar into a response.

T-Bar then tweeted a post of a series of articles related Jericho's Fozzy concert during a pandemic that included hundreds of fans with no social distancing. The concert is being widely criticized for being reckless and dangerous. It was a merciless attack.

This Is Getting Nasty

Jericho has never been one to shy away from a good online war of words. And, some fans are taking his side, calling out T-Bar for potentially being involved in an NXT party that might have been responsible for an outbreak of COVID-19 within the walls of WWE. (T-Bar denied knowledge of the party or attending.) Meanwhile, all Mace would say in the thread was, "Please consider wearing a mask." in some strange caveman-type language.

Jericho has yet to respond to T-Bar's tweet but we'll keep you posted.
